Join novelist/lyricist Karen Leslie Mills and memoirist/novelist Carolyn Dawn Flynn for 1.5 hours of pristine writing time. We'll get in about 50 minutes of writing, then have sharing time. This also is your chance to Ask Us Anything about writing and publication.
HOW IT WORKS: We’ll say a quick hello and start the silent writing time (about 50 minutes). If you need prompts, we’ll provide a few in the chat. If not, bring your project and start writing! Are you a songwriter? No worries! Song ideas are everywhere. Use our prompts to generate ideas for a new or hard-to-finish song.
SHARING We believe sharing is an integral part of your writing practice. We’ll make time in the last bit (15 minutes) for sharing. We’ll choose randomly from whomever volunteers in the chat. You’ll have 3 minutes (max) to share something. But, don’t be nervous. This is not about polish, but about your practice!
At the end, we’ll make time for a craft or publishing tips Q & A (15 minutes) and send you off into your real world.
